Isidian® SQL Insight 3 introduces several features and enhancements to previous versions. The list below contains many of the high-level function points implemented in SQL Insight 3.
New Features
SQL Insight 3 utilizes MDI, Multiple Document Interface, to allow for multiple asynchronous database sessions within a single application instance.
A new desktop interface has been implemented to help organize statement lists, database browsers, and other globally used windows.
The Project Manager has been introduced to assist in managing database connections, files, and directory paths.

SQL Insight 3 now interfaces with database links, dimensions, java sources, jobs, libraries, materialized views, materialized view logs, and stored outlines through the database browsers.
SQL Insight 3 is compatible with the Oracle 10g Database and Client, and utilizes new features such as the 10g Recycle Bin.
SQL Insight 3 introduces the Auto-Tuner, and automated performance tuning tool, to automatically parse and reconstruct poor-performing SQL statements to produce faster, more reliable variations.

Avoid cartesians and poor performing SQL using the Check Query Joins functionality, which will automatically identify any potentially missing joins.

Generate a Schema DDL update script to update a schema's objects to match another schema or database.

The SQL Builder has undergone a redesign for ease-of-use and added functionality.

SQL Insight 3 checks Isidian.com, when available, to check for new upgrades or patches. This option may be disabled.
Desktop files, layout, and active sessions may be saved and reloaded when the application restarts.
Corrected several known defects throughout the system.
Extended the base evaluation terms to 30 days.
