Isidian Technologies was formed in 2000 as a consulting and training company for enterprise level Oracle database developers.
The services offered were primarily to teach and/or perform tuning to mission critical systems.
SQL Insight, Isidian's flagship product, was derived from an application used to automate repititous acts and provide detailed information on production and tuning tasks.
As tuning practices became more repetitious and our needs grew, the application grew to contain more and more advanced functionality.
It was decided early in 2001 to continue development on the application as a commercial tool for developers of Oracle, and to branch to all level users that may need it, beginner to advanced.
